API is building the capacity of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and ASEAN Member States (AMS) to contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth and encourage rules-based systems to support a prosperous Southeast Asia. 

IBI administered the Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and Organizational Performance Index (OPI) tools—both mainstays of USAID’s Human and Institutional Capacity Development toolkit—to ascertain each beneficiary’s weaknesses in operational areas and overall organizational effectiveness. 

The Laos Business Environment Activity will support the promotion of continuous, inclusive, and sustainable growth using a three-pronged approach in two target provinces, Champasak and Vientiane. 

IBI was awarded the Pakistan Capacity Development Services – Small Business (PCDS-SB) activity to provide technical support to strengthen the capacity of Government of Pakistan entities that play an indirect role in the management of USG funds. 

Through this activity, IBI assists the GOTL and its private sector counterparts to reduce trading costs through implementing international best-practice customs clearance and transit procedures.
