Conditions of Employment
IBI employees work in positions that require a strong commitment to ethics and integrity. As a condition of employment with IBI, final candidates will be subject to a pre-employment screening. The pre-employment screening will be conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and, based on the requirements of the position and duties, may include a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, previous employment verification, and reference checks.
IBI’s COVID-19 Hiring Policy
IBI has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy to safeguard the health of our employees and the community at large from infectious diseases, and in compliance with the OSHA requirement for employers to provide and maintain a workplace that is “free of known hazards”. In addition, IBI is a US Government contractor and therefore subject to the “Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors”, signed by President Biden on September 9th, 2021.
IBI requires all US based Home Office employees to work from the physical office in Arlington, Virginia for at least 50% of each pay period. Our scheduling and home office space allows for social distancing. In addition, IBI has implemented additional COVID-19 risk mitigation measures within our office space. Therefore, IBI requires COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment. Requests for exceptions to this requirement based on reasonable medical accommodation or sincerely held religious beliefs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Due to the office reporting requirement, and as a condition of employment, final offers of employment are contingent on the candidate providing a valid proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.
IBI reserves the right to validate vaccination status and exception requests. IBI reserves the right to rescind an offer if conditions of employment are not met prior to the candidate’s scheduled start date.
