2024: A Transformative Year for IBI
As we close the book on 2024, IBI looks back on a year defined by transformation, growth, and impactful achievements. This year marked a significant milestone with our acquisition by URC, a globally recognized leader in healthcare quality improvement, and becoming IBI – A URC Company. This partnership has allowed us to expand our capabilities as a USAID contractor, providing innovative, local solutions to tackle some of the world’s most pressing development challenges.
Through this merger, IBI has fortified its commitment to delivering technical excellence and sustainable results. Together with URC, we share a vision of resilience, accountability, and inclusive development, ensuring that our clients benefit from quality expertise and resources.
Expanding Our Portfolio
In 2024, IBI proudly launched our new Governance, Resilience, and Stabilization practice area, with the USAID/Guatemala Safe Cities Project as its cornerstone. This initiative exemplifies our dedication to fostering stable and thriving communities. By strengthening municipal governance and engaging local stakeholders, we are reducing violence, enhancing public trust, and creating sustainable pathways to resilience in Guatemala’s key municipalities.
We also celebrated the strengthening of our Economic Growth portfolio with the award of the USAID/Rwanda Feed the Future Rwanda Boneza Ubucuruzi Activity. This project builds on Rwanda’s impressive progress in creating a business-friendly environment. By supporting the reduction of non-tariff barriers and promoting a transparent trade regulatory system, we aim to bolster regional trade and unlock new market opportunities.
