The Bureau of Customs has partnered with the USAID ASEAN Policy Implementation (API) Project to present the features and benefits of the e-CO and a step-by-step process for its application and approval process. The e-Co is an essential electronic document for traders, as it is a verified international trade document certifying an export obtained, produced, manufactured, or processed by a specific country. The National Single Window (NSW) is a web-based platform that allows parties involved in trade and transport to store standardized information in a secure, electronic platform to fulfill import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. The Philippines Bureau of Customs and USAID have been working with ASEAN states to provide benefits using a National Single Window (NSW) coordinated with the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) to document and file all related import, export, and transit transactions.
