As a subcontractor to Deloitte, IBI is providing expertise in public sector procurement to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in the following areas:

 

        a. Establishing a Public Procurement Unit including designing roles and responsibilities of personnel and developing the                         requisite policies and procedures;

 

        b. Setting up a system for organizing, recording and maintaining contracts that have been approved;

 

        c. Establishing a system for managing Government assets;

 

        d. Identifying and drafting relevant documents, policies, regulations, procedures and forms, all in-line with the new                                   Procurement Law; 

 

        e. Training of civil servants on new procedures, regulations and policies that the Ministry will implement;

 

        f. Developing a database for procurement data management;

 

        g. Developing a website for procurement information.
