IBI's Mobile Money Research Featured on ICTworks

Through IBI's work under the USAID funded Governance and Economic Management Support (GEMS) Project, IBI implemented a pilot program for teachers to receive their salary via mobile money (mMoney). IBI had 91 Ministry of Education teachers sign up for three months’ salary payments via mMoney. The results of this pilot showed a potential huge savings to the Government of Liberia.
