IBI
International is an international consulting and training firm. Our
core staff of consultants and trainers all have over 30 years of
experience solving problems in developing countries worldwide. We
provide analysis, training, and technical assistance to help government
and private sector clients succeed.
IBI
recently expanded its development practice, bringing in Dobbin
International - the world's first firm to specialize in
Integrated Coastal Management (ICM) planning. Dobbin International's
latest innovation was to lead one of the poorest regions in southeastern
Madagascar (the Anosy Region) out of poverty by applying leading
edge regional development planning approaches, including innovative
spatial development strategies across all development sectors, to
identify multi-sectoral growth poles and a dynamic regional development
program and action plan. The development strategy and investment
program, a $715 million, 20-year Regional Development Framework
(RDF), received $500 million of committed funding from donors, NGOs
and private sector investors within the first year.
Dobbin
International has three decades of experience in sustainable development
of coastal, ocean and land areas in over 100 countries.
IBI
also launched our non-profit International
Leadership Center (ILC) in March 2007. The ILC is dedicated
to help organizations and individuals improve their performance
through tested training programs. Training specialties include leadership
and management training, skill development in cross-cultural interaction,
and designing sustom programs and services to meet specialized client
needs. The ILC represents a partnership with IBI and the Management
Training and Development Institute (MTDI), a company with three
decades of leadership, management and cross-cultural communication
training.
IBI International's expert staff and large consultant network offer
a broad range of technical specialties and geographic/language experience.
These professionals use a participatory approach to policy reform
that allows clients to identify their needs and develop sound socio-economic
solutions.
In
addition, IBI's publication department provides complete editorial
and graphics services to meet all our clients' communication needs.
